LOCKE and YORK Route Changes Delayed [UPDATED 05/26]

The upcoming changes to routes 7 LOCKE and 8 YORK have been delayed and will not start this summer as originally planned.

7 LOCKE was supposed to be shortened to terminate at Charlton and Dundurn while 8 YORK was to have been extended south on Dundurn all the way to the Hilcrest Loops, south of Aberdeen.

The change has been postponed due to customer concerns regarding route elimination along Dundurn Street, between Lamoreaux and York Blvd. The routes will continue to operate as they currently do, however a summer schedule (reduced service in the peak periods) will still be implemented.

No information is available as to when the routing change might come into effect and has been postponed “until further notice.”

The summer schedules are set to start in Sunday, June 22nd.
