West Harbour GO Station

Metrolinx is building a brand new GO Station in Hamilton at 353 James Street North. The station is being constructed to support the community’s growing population and anticipated GO Transit ridership growth along the Lakeshore West corridor. Metrolinx is currently constructing a station building, fully-accessible platforms, a Kiss ‘N’ Ride, parking facilities and a bus loop. The station opened in on July 9th, 2015 with the passenger building, partially completed public plaza and train platform 2 completed.

Following this, Metrolinx will continue construction with a pedestrian bridge to provide more convenient passenger access to the train platforms, bus platforms and a parking structure by 2017.

Until the bus platforms are completed, route the 18E TRAIN MEET bus will drop off passengers at a temporary stop across from the station located at JAMES at MURRAY. This stop is shared by HSR routes 4 BAYFRONT and 20 A-LINE EXPRESS.
