Hamilton Transit Terminals
There are several transit terminals within the City of Hamilton.
The Eastgate Terminal is located at the Eastgate Square Shopping Centre at the corner of Queenston Rd and Centennial Pkwy in Hamilton. A total of five routes loop at this terminal. In the summer of 2007 Eastgate Square reconstructed their southeast parking lot, and as such the City of Hamilton and Eastgate Square relocated the Eastgate Terminal. The new terminal…
The Hamilton GO Centre is located on Hunter St E bewteen John St S and James St S. in Hamilton. Only one HSR route loops in this terminal, however GO Transit, Coach Canada and Greyhound Canada all use this terminal as well.
The Limeridge Terminal is located at the Limeridge Mall Shopping Centre at the corner of Upper Wentworth St and Limeridge Rd in Hamilton. A total of four routes and two shuttles loop or pass through this terminal.
The MacNab Terminal is located on MacNab St S between King St W and Main St W in Hamilton. A total of ten routes loop or pass through this terminal. This terminal was rebuilt from the ground up just a few years ago and features a multi-level passenger building with heated waiting areas and washroom facilities.
The McMaster University Terminal is located on the campus of McMaster University on Main St W in Hamilton. A total of four routes loop or pass through this terminal.
The Meadowlands Terminal is located in the Meadowlands Power Centre in Ancaster. Four routes and one shuttle loop at this terminal.
University Plaza is located on Osler Dr just inside Dundas. The plaza features dozens of retail locations, anchored by Metro and Shopper’s Drug Mart. The bus stops for the HSR routes in the plaza are located at an island in the centre of the parking lot.
Gore Park is located on King St E between James St S and John St S in Hamilton. This terminal is no longer used.
