1991 – present
West Hillcrest Loop The bus leaves the loop point at King & James and travel south on James, west on Hunter, south on Queen, west on Hunter, south on Locke, west on Charlton, south on Dundurn and arrive at the Hilcrest Loop at the southern most end of Dundurn. Returning to downtown the bus would travel north on Dundurn, east on Chatham, north on Locke, east on Main, north on John, west on Rebecca and south on James to arrive at the downtown recovery point at King & James. The route would be interlined with ‘Route 6 Aberdeen’ and ‘Route 8 York.’ When the bus would arrive downtown at King & James it would leave as a ‘Route 8 York.’ In the same way an inbound York bus would become an outbound Aberdeen and an inbound Aberdeen would become an outbound Locke bus.
East King & James
1989 – 1991
West Hillcrest Loop The bus would leave the loop point at Gore Park and turn left onto James St S. Next the bus would turn right onto Jackson St W followed by a right onto MacNab St S. The bus would next turn left on King St W followed by a left on Queen St S. Next the bus would turn right ont Hunter St W followed by a left on Queen St S, right on Hunter St W and another left on Locke St S. The bus would then turn right onto Charlton Ave W followed by a left on Dundurn St S. The bus would travel south on Dundurn and arrive at the end of the line at the Hilcrest Loop. Returning to downtown the bus would travel north on Dundurn followed by a right onto Chatham St and a left on Locke St S. Next the bus would turn right onto Main St W followed by a left on John St N. The bus would then turn left into Gore Park and arrive at the loop point.
