Routes 1/1A, 5A/5C and 51 Detoured on McMaster Campus April 28-29 (Phase 2)

Effective Thursday, April 28th from 7:00am until Friday, April 29th at 7:00pm, Sterling Street at Forsyth Avenue (McMaster University) will be fully closed due to crane dismantling.
Routes 1 KING (eastbound), 1A KING (westbound), 5A DELAWARE (eastbound), 5C DELAWARE (eastbound) and 51 UNIVERSITY will be detoured during this time as follows
EASTBOUND / NORTHBOUND
From Forsyth at University
- Continue east and north on Forsyth
- Right (east) on Sterling And resume regular routing on Sterling east of Forsyth.

- STERLING at UNIVERSITY
- STERLING at FORSYTH
- UNIVSITY at LIFE SCIENCES BUILDING
- UNIVSITY at FORSYTH
The following temporary bus areas will be installed:
- Eastbound on Forsyth Avenue opposite University Avenue, Midblock, South Side
- Eastbound on Sterling Street at Forsyth Avenue, Farside, Southeast Corner
SOUTHBOUND / WESTBOUND
From Sterling at Forsyth
- Left (south) on Forsyth
- Continue south and west on Forsyth and resume regular routing on Forsyth west of University Avenue (exit to Main Street)

- STERLING at UNIVERSITY
- UNIVSITY opposite LIFE SCIENCES BUILDING
- UNIVSITY at FORSYTH
The following temporary bus areas will be installed:
- Westbound on Sterling Street at Forsyth Avenue, Nearside, Northeast Corner
- Westbound on Forsyth Avenue at University Avenue, Farside, Northwest Corner
