Niagara GO Trains Won’t Stop in Hamilton

GO Transit will be returning their seasonal GO trains service to Niagara Falls again this year. The service, as in previous years, will operate on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and statutory holidays every weekend between July 3rd and September 7th.

Service begins with special service on Victoria Day weekend with service from May 15th – 18th with stops on the Lakeshore West line at Union Station, Exhibition, Port Credit, Oakville and Burlington GO Stations, and St. Catharines and Niagara Falls VIA Station.

With the construction of the new James North GO Station in Hamilton, there was some expectation that this seasonal train service would add a stop in the city.

This apparently is not the case.

While the GO train will pass through Hamilton’s yet-to-be-completed station, no GO trains will stop in Hamilton.

There is still a possibility that this could change however as GO train schedules have not been listed beyond June 26th.
