The City of Hamilton announced on Monday that they are nearing the start of the public consultation for the (re)envisioning of the transit network in the city.

Tomorrow, Tuesday January 22nd, 2019, the City of Hamilton’s Transit Division begins a comprehensive community engagement campaign to (Re)envision the HSR. The city is looking to hear from past, current and potential customers.

The survey is designed by world-class experts at McMaster University to measure the perceived and desired quality of transit service in the city.

The survey will be available at www.hamilton.ca/reenvision beginning on Tuesday. Questions and feedback about (Re)envision the HSR can be sent to the Customer Experience & Innovation team at reenvision@hamilton.ca.

Later stages of the project include consultation and collaboration with Hamilton’s many communities in the spring/summer of 2019. The design and reconfiguration phase will take place in the fall/winter of 2019 with recommendations coming to Council in the Spring of 2020.
