detour_small

There will be a crane lift for the CIBC Tower on Saturday evening April 9th from approximately 8:00pm and early Sunday morning April 10th until approximately 4:00am that will result in the closure of one southbound lane of James Street South, south of the north branch of King Street. As a result, route 1 KING will be detoured.

Additionally bus stop JAMES at KING (serviced by 2 BARTON and 3 CANNON) will be temporarily relocated due to the lane restriction. All routes on James Street South (routes 2, 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8) should expect delays during the times of the crane lift.

Routes 1 KING will be detoured as follows:

  • Left (south) on the eastern MacNab Terminal Roadway
  • Left (east) on Main Street
  • Right (south) on James Street and resume regular inbound routing.
